Sugarpill Cosmetics Pressed Eyeshadow Palettes (Pic Heavy)

I just had to get them. The little pretty palettes from Sugarpill are something I’ve been longing to have ever since I’ve seen swatches from Temptalia and her high rating on the products. I’m not sure what kept me from buying these things (uhh, maybe because you’re not an eyeshadow user and the more they are bright in-your-face eyeshadows?).. I mean how long it took me to decide, they’re just so pretty! Nevertheless, I have them now *evil laugh* and I can’t wait for the day I’ll wear them..hopefully!

Loves it..
  • blends easily - comparable to mac, mufe, urban decay plus it retains the original color upon blending. doesn't turn muddy when blending with each other.
  • pigmented - i'm now a believer! what you see is what you get.best out there!
  • cute packaging - i love the palette design and labels..so purrtyy!
  • customer service - yup i love everything about the site color, etc..plus amy is a real sweetheart..super nice.:)
  • dollypop is my absolute fave color!! its the best pink ever!!  :D
Hates it..
  • powdery - dollipop, tako and buttercupcake are powdery that it tends to crack easily  . They are little loose unlike the other colors so more fall outs on the palette itself (but didn't encounter problems upon application on the eyes). then again, I don't care..the colors are really pretty and the best of the best.
  • limited colors - i would love to see other colors. more wearable colors.
  • price/size  -  they perform much better than higher priced products and the size of the pan is big so its really worth the price. having said that, the pan is just big for me and i don't think i can finish it all off (considering also it's not normal shades i can wear or on my clients)..so its a little expensive for me.
Final Thoughts
When I swatched the sugarpill pressed eyeshadows on the back of my hands with/without primer, I couldn't believe that it looks the same.  The gurus are not kidding when they reviewed sugarpill and loving the pigmentation it gives. I also used it on my eyes and when I removed it using shu uemura cleansing oil, no stains are present.  This is just a nice to have product for others as the colors are really bright and cannot be worn normally but if you are someone who finds bold colors normal, then this is really a must have! As for me, I love it a lot and find no reason to look for the same colors on other brands. (yup, im giving my friend my mac chrome yellow and orange, hehe)  Believe me, this is the best out there! I recommend this product to all the makeup lovers out there looking for an e/s palette with bold colors.  It's really something to have in your collection. A high quality product!
